THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently on the lookout for an Associate Technical Lead – DevOps (Windows) to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing, implementing and maintaining Windows-based infrastructure in on-premises and cloud environments
Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Windows applications
Performing system patching, upgrades and performance tuning
Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible
Managing and monitoring Windows servers, Active Directory and Group Policies
Ensuring system security, compliance and performance tuning
Working with development teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure, automation and deployments
Implementing and managing containerization solutions like Docker and Kubernetes (Windows Containers)
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 4+ years of experience in DevOps
Strong knowledge of Windows-based applications
Proven experience as a Windows DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge in fundamental DevOps tools such as Windows-based infrastructure, DevOps tools, Terraform, Jenkins, GoCD, GitHub, Nagios and Chef etc.
Experience with managing and provisioning Windows Server environments in on-premises, cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), and hybrid environments
Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting DevOps tools in production systems
The ability to adhere to engineering standards, best practices; must be process-oriented
Strong communication skills – reading & comprehending documents/specifications, producing clear and thorough documentation, with ability to discuss and explain technical issues during meetings
1+ years of experience with one of the dynamic object-oriented programing languages like Groovy, Ruby or Python; experience with a programming language like Java, C#, Node.js or JavaScript and related web frameworks will be an added advantage
