THE OPPORTUNITY
The Finance Team at Sysco LABS plays a crucial role in the company on a daily basis. The Intern – Finance will work with an experienced team of finance professionals, assisting them with important tasks while learning more about the workings of a technology corporate.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Providing operational support to the Finance team, whilst supporting special projects
- Assisting in the preparation of month-end financials
- Maintaining and administering the Finance Petty Cash float
- Extracting reports from QuickBooks and performing analysis as required
- Liaising with the Inland Revenue Department for tax-related matters
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a graduate or undergraduate specialized in the fields of Accounting/Finance or part qualified in ACA/ACCA or CIMA
- An excellent command of English Language (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills
- Strong Organizational skills. Ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks and stakeholder requirements.
- Can do attitude, Friendly, Self-Learner with Attention to detail.
