THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for passionate Software Engineers who are eager to specialize in Pricefx, the world’s leading SaaS pricing software. While prior experience with Pricefx is not required, candidates must be willing to undergo training, complete the Pricefx Configuration Engineer exam, and gain hands-on experience with the platform. This role involves working closely with both business and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient pricing solutions and optimize pricing strategies. The ideal candidate should have experience in software development, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Completing Pricefx training and successfully obtaining the Pricefx Configuration Engineer certification
Designing and developing enterprise pricing solutions
Using Groovy/Java programming to create custom logic within Pricefx
Troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing code targeting performance improvements
As required, contributing to full-stack software development outside of the Pricefx scope
Collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams across Sri Lanka, Canada and the US
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Hands-on experience with Java and Groovy
Proficiency with REST API concepts and development
Knowledge on relational databases and SQL
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment
Willingness to adjust to flexible work hours partially overlapping with US/Canada timezones
Having a Pricefx Configuration Engineer certification is a critical advantage
