Technology Operations forms the operational backbone of Sysco IT services and infrastructure. These teams work on multiple disciplines including Incident, Problem and Change Management, Enterprise Monitoring, Site Reliability Engineering and Operations Engineering that primarily looks after technical support. In our brand-new Technology Operations Command Center, teams operate on a 24x7 basis supporting multiple geographies and ensuring Sysco’s global operations continue running smoothly and reliably.

Specialized and customer-oriented, technical operations teams made up of Operations Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers primarily focus on providing technical support for Sysco’s mission-critical applications and infrastructure, delivering maximum application utility, reliability, and availability to ensure Sysco’s business operations can run without interruptions.

As a part of the Enterprise Monitoring team, you will be the first line of defense providing proactive support by identifying incidents in Sysco’s global IT infrastructure through various monitoring dashboards, while working with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve incidents before it impacts Sysco associates and customers.

The Incident Management function involves initiating and leading incident management calls with various stakeholders and providing progress updates via relevant channels, ensuring the incident is resolved in the shortest possible time.

The Problem Management function is essential to eliminate recurring incidents. As part of the team, you will be working with technology teams to identify the root cause of incidents and what actions can be taken to avoid similar incidents in the future.
