THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently on the lookout for an Associate Quality Engineering Lead with Core Automation/AI testing exposure to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with the QE department’s leadership to strategize and implement SL QE practices and Test Center of Excellence-related programs/initiatives
Leading efforts in defining test strategies, test planning and reviews for AI-based testing/tooling
Collaboratively working across divisions/teams to exercise the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities
Building and maintaining test automation frameworks
Reviewing and contributing towards the development of automation scripts
Configuring and maintaining continuous integration pipelines
Planning, scripting, executing performance tests and analyzing performance testing results
Overlooking and managing test execution and communicating test statuses to different stakeholders
Mentoring, training, and leading a team of Quality Engineers directly and indirectly when needed
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification, and 5+ years of industry experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a designated Associated Quality Engineering Lead
Hands-on exposure or understanding to practically apply AI testing concepts will be an added advantage
Should possess a strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices, and test design techniques
Possessing a certification from a recognized body for AI in testing is an added advantage
Must have hands-on experience in testing applications deployed on cloud platforms and microservices architectures, preferably with vendors such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Assure, or similar
A keen interest in learning and challenging the personal status quo
Experience in test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium and Appium
Strong knowledge of Java, OOP concepts and coding standards
Experience in working with continuous integration, build and source control tools such as Jenkins, Maven and GIT
A solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional certifications such as ISTQB, PMI-ACP or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) would be an added advantage
Must have a thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
