Sysco LABS technology is present in the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network, the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer and much more.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently on the lookout for an Associate Team Lead - People Operations (Learning & Development) to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Program Development & Delivery

  • Designing, developing, and delivering technical and professional development training programs
  • Conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and create learning solutions
  • Facilitating both in-person and virtual training sessions effectively

Learning Content Design

  • Developing engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, videos, manuals, and job aids
  • Leveraging instructional design principles and technology to enhance learning experiences

Technical Training Implementation

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and update technical training programs
  • Ensuring training materials align with the latest industry trends and technologies

Learning Analytics & Evaluation

  • Measuring the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
  • Using data insights to continuously improve learning interventions

L&D Technology & Platforms Management

  • Managing the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ensure seamless user experience
  • Staying updated with new learning technologies and recommending innovative solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Working closely with HR, business leaders, and technical teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals
  • Supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives and mentorship programs

Employee Development & Coaching

  • Assisting in career development planning by providing learning pathways for employees
  • Conducting coaching sessions and mentorship programs to support employee growth

Compliance & Certification Programs

  • Ensuring all training programs meet compliance and industry certification requirements
  • Coordinating with external training providers when necessary

REQUIREMENTS

A Degree from a recognized foreign or local university

Should demonstrate emotional intelligence

4 - 6 years’ experience in people management; prior experience in Learning & Development will be an added advantage

Excellent people skills and the ability to negotiate with and manage stakeholders at diverse levels

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and spoken communication skills
