THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently on the lookout for a talented Business Analyst to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with International Sysco Sites and relevant stakeholders within those countries to collect data requirements
- Owning and managing the business and technical requirements for projects that move forward global initiatives
- Owning and managing documentation of all requirements and technical specifications
- Ensuring data requirements are accurate and comparable across markets, i.e. to aligned definitions
- Working with relevant stakeholders (both in-country – e.g. finance contacts, and centrally – e.g. Business Technology) to maintain data in a viable data framework
- Collaborating with the relevant Business Technology functions to ensure data integrity and data security compliant to Sysco’s needs
- Conducting comprehensive analysis on various Business initiatives in efforts to create efficiencies and improvement
- Overseeing, developing, and deploying new tools and technologies as needed to support the role
- Performing other duties and/or projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related subject
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) required; there will be a significant amount of time spent interacting with Business Users required
- The ability to ask insightful questions to retrieve information from key stakeholders
- Adept at developing effective relationships across the business, technology and wider change management community
- Essential experience of working with senior business users with a logical, structured thought process and good problem-solving skills
- Should have a good level of experience in a complex business analyst role ideally within a food/foodservice/retail environment
- General Data warehousing knowledge is beneficial
- Knowledge of SQL and Python
- Self-reliant in exploring, extracting, analyzing, and presenting information with Excel (PivotTables, writing VBA code, etc.)
