The Role:
Helping create and implement “best-in-class” digital/social media strategies
Helping measure and create success metrics for all our social media efforts
Collaborating with the DEI team and senior leadership to drive process and program improvements in the DEI space and support diversity programs and events that drive Sysco LABS’ DEI strategy and goals
Thought partnering with our DEI team – think outside the box and help drive innovative ideas and research external developments in the field of diversity and inclusion to keep the team and other stakeholders informed
Improving engagement and impact with DEI entities and other external groups, enabling authentic relationship-building with diverse talent
Partnering with DEI organizations to push forward our DEI training strategy to associates
Handling day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision; needs to be organized and self-sufficient; prioritizes and completes tasks to meet deadlines without supervision
The Profile:
Experience in online and social media marketing; experience in managing paid campaigns would be a plus
Good with numbers; an analytical mind with the ability to derive insights from data
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Strong writing skills to generate thought-leading content based on industry trends and topics
Ability to research and summarize complex or extensive subject matter, taking onboard information from a number of sources, to produce engaging and informative communications
A passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and the intellectual curiosity to learn more.
Perform work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative/unsupervised and plan and organize own time to meet varying priorities
Pursuing a degree in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Business Administration, or a similar field
