THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently on the lookout for a Senior Team Lead – People Operations to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing and executing organizational development interventions to address opportunities and or challenges faced by business units
Functioning as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, providing guidance and recommendations for effective solutions
Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations COEs to develop solutions, programs, and policies
Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation
Facilitating change management efforts related to organizational restructuring, mergers, or process improvements
Handling complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
Providing coaching and support to managers on employee performance, development, and retention strategies
Facilitating associate connects with leaders and other collaborative stakeholders
Taking responsibility for the delivery of HR services associated with onboarding, 3-month reviews, probation confirmations, internal movements, progressions and exits
Working closely with management and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Identifying training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
Participating in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; Following up to ensure training objectives are met
Providing training and support to managers on setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and delivering feedback
Driving talent assessment and succession planning initiatives to ensure the division has the right people in the right roles
Providing guidance and consultation to delivery leads and middle managers on Sysco’s talent management framework and processes (including CMP, identification and developing top-tier talent)
Driving employee engagement and retention initiatives, engagement surveys and action plans
Taking co-accountability for driving DEI initiatives across the respective business units
Driving the spot recognition program
Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Associates, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance; Partnering with HR Operations as needed/required
Assisting international Associates (L1 and B1 Assignees) with HR-related matters (home base)
Leading/Supporting HR special projects and initiatives
Facilitating leadership trainings
Supporting in offboarding processes and conducting exit interviews
Supporting inter-divisional movements and process improvements
Assisting and supporting the compensation and benefit process
Performing other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
A Degree from a recognized foreign or local university
A strong understanding of local labor laws and practices
Should demonstrate emotional intelligence
5 - 8 years’ experience in people management; experience in Business Partnering is preferred
Excellent people skills and the ability to negotiate with and manage stakeholders at diverse levels
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
