THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Services Lead to own and drive the delivery of enterprise-wide data management capabilities in support of our Master Data Management (MDM) and central Data & Analytics Hub. This leadership role will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of data cleansing, data standardization, data quality, metadata management, reference data management, and data enrichment processes. The right candidate will play a critical role in designing, automating, and maintaining scalable and governed data management services that feed into our enterprise analytics, MDM, and governance platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management Strategy & Execution
Defining and leading the implementation of data management service frameworks aligned with MDM and analytics use cases
Developing automation strategies to streamline data cleansing, standardization, and enrichment before integration into enterprise systems
Data Quality & Governance
Establishing and maintaining data quality monitoring frameworks, scorecards, and remediation workflows
Implementing business rules and AI-driven logic to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master and transactional data
Partnering with data stewards to enforce governance policies and improve data trustworthiness
Reference & Master Data Management
Designing and managing reference data models, taxonomies, and mapping strategies
Leading the operationalization of MDM services including entity resolution, golden record creation, and stewardship workflows
Metadata & Lineage Management
Overseeing the integration of metadata from diverse sources using tools such as Alation, Collibra, or Informatica
Establishing lineage and impact analysis processes to ensure transparency and traceability across the data lifecycle
Data Enrichment & Integration
Integrating external and third-party data sources to enhance business records and analytics capabilities
Defining and implementing API-based and ETL/ELT pipelines to support real-time and batch data flows
Collaboration & Leadership
Acting as a key liaison between data architects, engineers, stewards, and business stakeholders
Providing thought leadership on best practices in data management, data literacy, and data-as-a-product principles
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
For Technical Lead level 6+ years of experience and for Senior Technical Lead level 8+ years of experience in data management or data architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role
Proven expertise in MDM, data quality, metadata management, and reference data practices
Hands-on experience with modern data management tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Alation, Collibra, Profisee)
A strong understanding of cloud platforms and data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks)
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
Experience in implementing data governance frameworks at scale and familiarity with AI/ML for anomaly detection and data quality improvement are preferred
